Blue Road Partners was founded in 2016 by Patricia McNeela. Patricia identified a gap in the market for senior experienced professionals to assist high growth businesses’ to accelerate their businesses performance. She felt the reason for this was that business accelerator projects and strategic assignments usually required a skilled, experienced, part time, hands-on but often a once-off cost effective resource who can be called upon at short notice. Blue Road Partners provides this service.

The meaning of Blue Road Partners came from the following; Blue was inspired by Blue Ocean Strategy which was developed by W. Chan Kim and Renée Mauborgne. They concluded that lasting success increasingly comes, not from battling competitors, but from creating blue oceans (as opposed to bloody red oceans) of untapped new market spaces ripe for growth. The Road refers to your business journey and Partners we see ourselves as a partner to you and your business on your journey.
